Kirkby Diamond completes four office deals worth £6.3m

July 19, 2024

Leading commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has demonstrated its expertise in the Buckinghamshire regional office market with the £503,000 sale of a vacant property in Milton Keynes.

The 2,542 sq ft premises in Fox Milne is the fourth vacant office building to be sold by the company in recent months, with a total value of more than £6.3 million.

In the latest deal, the long leasehold of the offices at Diamond Court, Opal Drive, has been acquired by dental supplies business Forestadent. Kirkby Diamond was acting on behalf of a private client.

Nick Bosworth, senior surveyor at Kirkby Diamond in Milton Keynes, said: “It’s really rewarding to see that Kirkby Diamond’s Milton Keynes office team has transacted the last four vacant possession office sales in Milton Keynes, since November 2023.

“These include selling the largest office building in the last 12 months, with Avalon House changing hands in a £4 million deal. In total, we have transacted £6,341,320 worth of office property across these four transactions, clearly demonstrating that we are the market leaders in vacant possession office sales.”

Avalon House at Saxon Street, Linford Wood, was acquired by an undisclosed major investor in a deal that took just four months to complete. The 30,284 sq ft two-storey building has two wings of open-plan offices around a central reception area, with 90 parking spaces.

At Mill Lane, in Woolstone, Kirkby Diamond sold a 4,300 sq ft freehold property to a children’s nursery provider on behalf of a private client for £887,500. Meanwhile, at Davy Avenue, Knowlhill, a 4,885 sq ft office building was acquired by IT services company CMC for £950,000. Kirkby Diamond acted on behalf of a private client.

Matt Bowen, partner and head of commercial agency at Kirkby Diamond, said: “We have proved once again that Kirkby Diamond has the market reach to offer comprehensive office agency services from our five offices on the North Home Counties M1 corridor.”
