Three industrial units sold in £1 million deal

Three industrial units at a Bedfordshire business park have been acquired in a deal worth more than £1 million.

Acting on behalf of a long-term client, Kirkby Diamond negotiated the deal with an unnamed investor who acquired units 5, 6 and 7 at Pulloxhill Business Park, Greenfield Road, Pulloxhill, Bedfordshire.

Unit 5, with a total of 2,286 sq ft of accommodation, was sold at quoting price while units 6 and 7, which have always been a single unit totalling 5,464 sq ft, achieved a figure just under quoting.

Diccon Brearley, senior surveyor at Kirkby Diamond’s Bedford office, said: “It was very satisfying to complete this deal which saw a long-term client of ours sell their remaining three business units at Pulloxhill Business Park.

“They had already sold three other units they owned some time ago and this deal brings their involvement in the business park to a successful conclusion. Freehold industrial units become available only very rarely and so we were able to quickly secure a single investor for these properties in what is a popular location for businesses.”

Pulloxhill Business Park is located in an elevated position just to the north of the village of Pulloxhill and close to the A6 between Bedford and Luton. The estate is approximately 4.3 miles from J12 of the M1 at Toddington and 7.9 miles from J11a at Sundon. Luton town centre and mainline railway station is 9.9 miles away, Bedford 13.8 miles and Milton Keynes 16.5 miles.
