Housing Land Promotion Agreement Completed

We are pleased to announce that our Land Planning & Development team has recently completed a land promotion agreement with Richborough, for a 45-acre Buckinghamshire site which has the potential to deliver more than 300 new homes.

The greenfield site, which falls within Buckinghamshire Council unitary authority area, is in a sustainable location with easy access into central Milton Keynes.  Our team acted on behalf of the landowners.

Andrew Wright, Senior Partner and Head of Land, Planning & Development at Kirkby Diamond, said: “This is a very attractive site and it has generated a significant amount of interest from regional and national land promoters, resulting in competitive offers which is a testament to our team and our relationship with landowners in the area.”

Andrew adds: “North Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes are major growth areas and the site at Newton Leys presents a key opportunity to bring forward housing to a sustainable location.

“The site was well received by promoters, ultimately providing our client with highly competitive promotion terms which met their needs. Richborough understood the needs of the landowner and were able to act quickly to complete the contract, making the process easier for all.”

Richborough secured the land promotion agreement for the site which is capable of delivering 320 new homes.

Regional Director at Richborough, Marc Wilson said: “Thanks to our planning, design and technical teams who have extensively researched the site to determine its potential as a sustainable and attractive place to live. We look forward to working the landowner to deliver best value for them and all stakeholders.”
