Kirkby Diamond's Building Consultancy team provided updated feasibility advice following a shift in market conditions. Focusing on essential building envelope works, we redefined the scope to meet this objective while aligning with the Client’s budget and agency market expectations.

Following a detailed tender review, we undertook a value engineering exercise that identified additional savings while maintaining alignment with Mileway’s corporate objectives. After careful consideration of industrial market requirements, construction costs, and EPC standards, Mileway instructed the full scope of works to be developed and instructed.

Our role included providing comprehensive project management services, including full planning advice for the roof replacement. Paul Hazell managed the project through to completion, successfully delivering the site under budget.

Works included:

• Complete asbestos roof replacement, including rainwater systems
• Full electrical rewire
• Window replacement
• Renewal of internal finishes throughout
• Upgrade of gas heating system to electric
